1.Introduction
Heme Iron Polypeptide is extracted from healthy porcine or bovine blood, which is very helpful for iron supplementation and for iron-deficiency anemia. Iron in diet is divided into heme iron polypeptide and non-heme iron polypeptide. It is easily absorbed by human body. It mainly exists in animal red meat, liver and blood. Non-heme iron polypeptide mainly exists in plant food and is not easily absorbed by human body.

5.Method of Analysis
Accurately weigh 0.5g~1.5g Bovine HIP into 250mL high breaker, dissolve it with 20mL~30mL mixed acid digestion solution and covered it with a glass-surface vessel. Heat digestion it on electric heating plate or electric sand bath. If it is not digested well, will supply a few milliliters of mixed acid digestion solution and continue to heat digestion it until show the transparent appearance. Supply a few milliliters of water to it, to heat to remove the redundant nitric acid. When the liquid in the breaker is heated to 2mL~3mL, move away and cool down it. Washing the 10mL scale test tube with deionized water and transfer the liquid into it, then constant volume to scale with water. Absorb the same amount as sample digestion of the mixed acid digestion solution, then execute the reagent blank determination according to the above operation.
